I was reading an interesting article here (http://www.spaceflightnow.com/shuttle/sts127/090726fd12/), where I was reading about how the space shuttles scrubber had failed.
It was interesting how they use lithium hydroxide, a far more potent scrubber material.
The new Cis-Lunar Mark VI Discovery has plans for a hydrophobic membrane scrubber that is lithium hydroxide capable.
