My dream camera would be the one - I don't have to carry :p - in the hands of a professional underwater photographer hired to follow me like a shadow and take perfectly framed shots of whatever strikes my fancy.

They are selling D300's now on E-bay for $1000 USD, or 48,000 pesos.

I use a Nikon D80 with twin Ikelite DS200 strobes. With the Ikelite housing as well you can adjust both strobes using a single control on the back of the housing.
This is a great rig but the only negative I have is the way the various ports connect to the housing – not the best connection I have seen.
I have already flooded 1 camera in the 4 years I have been using it. The one positive was that the camera was cheaper the second time I bought it. The other unfortunate thing was that I had a ($1K USD) 105mm lens on it when the camera went for a swim

Oh, those Nikkor 105mm macro lenses are not cheap! Ouch!
